Brody whose dad Bruce is going to walk Kim down the aisle has had a famously contentious and apparently reality-TV filmed relationship with the side of the Kardashian family. It even went so far as telling the New York Daily News the previous year regarding their broken relationship with stepmom, Kris Jenner. He said the tension was very real as far as they were growing up and he did not really know what her intentions were.
For the moment, a group of celebs that attended the doomed Kardashian-Humphreys nuptials in 2011 were not able to get an invitation this time around. Noticeably not on the much coveted list are Ryan Seacrest, the famed TV host of American Idol and producer of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, singer Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Avril Lavigne, former member of the Spice Girls, Mel B, Mario Lopez and most notably Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsey was once a very close friend of the Kardashians, she along with sister Ali and mom Dina, has been taken out of the guest list this time. Apparently, she made quite an impression during the 2011 Kardashian wedding when she attended wearing an all-white dress that did not cover any part of her body.
Celebrities and socialites who were fortunate enough to make the cut to both of the nuptials are tennis champions and sisters Venus and Serena Williams as well as the best friends of the Kardashians, Jonathan Cheben and Brittany Gastineau.
There were also a lot of rumors whether or not Rachel Roy will attend the wedding and if Jay Z and Beyoncé will add their own flair to the already glamorous affair. Roy is said to be involved in the recent elevator incident involving Solange and Jay Z just several weeks ago.
The Wedding
Now that official photos of the event have been released it can really be said that it was indeed the wedding event of the year. One particular photo of the happy couple look absolutely stunning as they kiss in front of family and friends while standing by a gigantic wonder wall of flowers, just a few moments after saying their vows to one another.
Another picture also revealed Kim’s stunning wedding dress which is a mermaid-silhouette gown that featured delicate white lace. It was designed courtesy of Givenchy Haute Couture. It was a long-sleeved backless dress with a train and a dramatic immaculate white cathedral length silk veil to finish the look. Kim wore her hair loose and long while her make-up was laidback and perfectly flawless.
